Labor Day parade in works
DANVILLE ? The Vermilion County Federation of Labor AFL-CIO will sponsor the ?largest downstate parade in Illinois? on Sept. 3.
Organizations or businesses that are interested in participating should call Connie Ostrander at 418-0944 or e-mail dantres1963@att.net. Applications must be submitted by Aug. 10.
Awards will be presented at the union?s quarterly meeting in October; winners will be notified.
